Corps Director - Burt Madsen Stoel

Burt "Mink" Stoel has been the director of Tremendous Blast since it has been pulled from the past, and back into the role of it's forecorps, leading the future of Corps.

A Minnesota native, Burt left the area as a youth to pursue a lucrative career as the ring toss operator for the Randy Sheisters Carnival.  This however proved to be a poor choice monetarily.  The benefit did come however when he was able to escape the reigns of the carnival as they traveled through back streets of Amsterdam.

Fleeing one carnival for another, he was quickly brought into the staff for the well known Amsterdam Bugling Dutchmen, Holland's top corps.  His experiences with the crowds of the carnival transferred directly into more entertaining drum corps shows, and more satisfied fans.  Particularly those lucky ones who got to take home the carp in a bowl after throwing the hula hoop over the heads of the drum line.

Nowadays, long since retired from Drum Corps Holland (DCH) management, Stoel has taken a step back, realizing that the world of Drum Corps needs a kick in the pants.  Heading up the charge to bring The Blast to the world, the words come down from our director - "Lead, follow, or march the hell out of the way."
