Ryan Shirk – The man behind the Tremendous Sound!!

Ryan was retained for the arrangement of Tremendous Blast’s new parade tune, "Blame Canada", an Emmy nominated song from the South Park Movie.  We’re so impressed with his work that we’ve enlisted him to complete the brass arrangements for the Blast’s 2004 field show. 

Ryan’s exuberance for the arranging had always been evident to the corps, and he has yet to disappoint.  He developed his unique style writing music for the sales industry and pioneered several very recognizable jingles.  After tapping what seemed to be an endless well of catchy songs, all 30 or 60 seconds long, he began to take an interest in operatic scores which continues to influence his arrangements today, very evident in our new parade tune.

Ryan will continue to be an essential asset to TB, and his efforts will undoubtedly earn him a place in the Tremendous Blast Hall of Fame.
